At 16, Damien Weston faced homelessness — but a small town would not let him fall. A local nonprofit gave him eyeglasses. Another found him housing. A local businessman gave him a job. He put himself through CNA school, earned his BA over 13 years while growing his career and family, and rose to lead organizations overseeing 300+ people and $600M+ in responsibilities. Equip Human Solutions exists because he lived every step of it.
Damien Weston, MBA
From homelessness at 16 — lifted by a small town's generosity — to leading a multi-organization ecosystem. This is the journey that built EHS.
Adversity Becomes Purpose
At 16, Damien Weston faced homelessness — but a small town would not let him fall through the cracks. A local nonprofit provided him with a pair of eyeglasses. Another organization found him housing. A local businessman offered him employment. Those acts of community changed the trajectory of his life, and became the foundation of everything EHS stands for.
Frontline Healthcare
Damien put himself through CNA school and began his career at the bedside, learning the healthcare industry from the ground up. Over 13 years — while building his career and raising a family — he earned his Bachelor's degree. That frontline experience gave him an unfiltered view of the gaps in workforce development, training, and career support that held hardworking people back from advancing.
Leadership & Operations
Rising through the ranks, Damien took on senior leadership roles across healthcare and business — serving as Chief Growth Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, and other executive positions. He eventually oversaw 300+ associates and $600M+ in budgetary responsibilities, gaining a full-spectrum view of what it takes to build and scale organizations.

Drawing on 20+ years of lived experience and leadership, Damien founded Equip Human Solutions to close the gaps he witnessed throughout his career — connecting business consulting, workforce training, and community resources into one integrated ecosystem.

Damien serves as Founder & Chief Executive of EHS and Chief Executive of Western Medical Training Center (WMTC), leading a growing ecosystem that has empowered individuals, businesses, and communities across San Diego and beyond. Along the way he earned his MBA — completing the academic journey that began at the bedside and culminated in the boardroom.
